Visiting Panama City Beach with disabilities can be a great experience. From rolling on the sand to visiting museums and enjoying delicious food, there are plenty of activities to enjoy. Wheelchairs are not available at the property, but guests can bring their own. Trained service animals are allowed to accompany visitors with disabilities.

With a mile and a half of beach, 60 campsites and hiking trails, this park has something for everyone. The park itself is wheelchair accessible and has access to the visitor center, the elevated boardwalks that lead to the beach and the pier's viewpoint, fishing docks and panoramic viewpoints. Beach wheelchairs are available at the ranger station and service animals are welcome. At Hook'd Pier Bar & Grill, on the other end of Panama City Beach, grouper tacos are a delicious lunch.

Beach Powered Mobility offers a variety of beach wheelchairs for rent, including floating beach wheelchairs that can roll on sand or float in water. Recently, I had the opportunity to explore Panama City Beach with disabilities and I was amazed by all the accommodations and attractions available for everyone. From beach wheelchairs to accessible restaurants, there is something for everyone in this beautiful city. The Holiday Inn Express Panama City Beach Beachfront has a fully accessible front entrance, elevators and public restrooms. However, my favorite is their motorized beach wheelchair, as I can drive it independently on the beach.

During any trip to Panama City Beach, one of my favorite activities is to enjoy as much delicious food as possible. I love the beach here because they have several Mobi-Mats in the sand, which allows me to easily move around the beach while in my electric wheelchair for everyday use. I tried to go to the beach in my electric wheelchair, but quickly got stuck in a bit of mud, as the path to the beach is not paved. The city's beach is located next to the pier and manual wheelchairs are available free of charge on the pier. Ripley's Believe It or Not museums have fascinated me since I was a child, so when I saw that there was one in Panama City Beach, I had to check it out. The museum is fully accessible with ramps and elevators throughout the building.

There are also audio guides available for visitors who are visually impaired. There are some great places to stay in Panama City Beach, but one of my favorites that I recently stayed at was the Holiday Inn Resort Panama City Beach. This hotel is fully accessible with ramps and elevators throughout the building. They also offer motorized beach wheelchairs for rent so you can explore the beach independently. At Russel-Fields City Pier & Beach, St., you can use manual beach wheelchairs for free, on a first-come, first-served basis at Russel-Fields City Pier & Beach, St. From rolling on the sand to visiting museums and enjoying delicious food, you can definitely have a great time in Panama City Beach no matter what your skills are.

Pier Park is one of my favorite spots in all of Panama City Beach and I could easily spend an entire day there. The park is fully accessible with ramps and elevators throughout the building. There are also several restaurants that offer wheelchair-accessible seating.
