Festival Organizers Announce a Festival Poster Contest

The Panama City Beach Seafood, Wine & Music Festival issued a call to artists for the 29th Annual festival poster contest. This year's contest theme is “A New Beginning of a Classic Event”.

All artwork was to be handcrafted by the artist. No computer-generated or enhanced artwork was accepted. The winner will be notified by Friday Septemeber 5th.

The winning design will be used on official festival posters, t-shirts and other items T.B.D. The winning artist will receive a portion of the net profit from the sale of such items. Additionally, they will receive a free vendor booth at the festival, 2 VIP tickets, and will be featured on our website, e-mail blasts, take part in signings during the festival and will be a special guest at various festival events, ie... Grand Wine Tastings, etc.

The festival will take place at Frank Brown Park, October 10, 11 & 12, 2008. More than 15,000 visitors and locals are projected to attend this festival for live entertainment, local seafood, wine tastings, celebrity chef exhibitions, the newly designed Family Fun Days complete with a "Kids Village", arts & crafts booths, and more. The festival organizers are planning a newly implemented "GREEN FEST" making efforts to collect and recycle as much of the festival waste as possible.
